Why the bible now?

A prophetic book very accurate in its own right: with many details to encourage the reader to keep searching for more. Prophecy as far back as more than five thousand years ago is being fulfilled in our day without missing a beat.

You may wonder, how come? The answer to that question is found at:
2Pe 1:21 For prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke [as they were] moved by the Holy Spirit.

Isaiah 55:8-11 God’s word is going to do exactly as he purposed it to be, because He can’t lie. As an example not so long ago the popular belief was that the earth was flat, now we know that it is round because of space craft. More than 3000 years ago the bible said:
Isa 40:22 [It is] He who sits above the circle of the earth, and its inhabitants [are] like grasshoppers, Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, And spreads them out like a tent to dwell in.

Job 26:7 He stretches out the north over empty space; [He] hangs the earth on nothing.
Right now billions are being spent in space technology trying to reach the final frontier, and we have giant sound recorders to pick up any signal coming from UFO’s. The irony is that while we are looking for aliens from outer space, the bible said we were invaded from day one.

Eph 6:12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual [hosts] of wickedness in the heavenly [places].

Yes they are behind everything that’s going on in the world today: governments, wars, crimes, lawlessness, famine, pestilences, and they aim to destroy us all.
Why the bible now?

Because there is no information from anywhere else that tells us how to be saved from this chaotic world. Read this:
Act 16:30 And he brought them out and said, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?"
Act 16:31 So they said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household."

Hbr 9:28 So Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.

If you are a beginner, please remember to read the New Testament first then the old.
1Ti 4:16 Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.
